Our Story

At Barron’s Boxing, our roots run deep in discipline, resilience, and community. Founded by Sylvester "Doc" Barron — a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former professional heavyweight boxer — our gym was born out of a passion for transformation, both inside and outside the ring.

After years of competing at the highest levels and facing world-class opponents, Doc turned his focus to giving back. He knew boxing was more than a sport — it was a way to build confidence, develop character, and create lasting change. That belief led to the creation of Barron’s Boxing in Burlington, Washington.

Here, every glove tells a story. From beginners learning their first jab to experienced fighters honing their craft, we welcome all ages and skill levels. Our programs are built on respect, hard work, and a no-ego culture where everyone grows stronger — mentally and physically.

This isn’t just a boxing gym. It’s a place where people come to challenge themselves, support one another, and become part of something bigger. This is our family. This is Barron’s Boxing.
